Response #7: Bucket List

Let's me thinking about my bucket list. I really have lots of things wanted to do before I die. I want to graduate MBA, go back to Vietnam to find a job to earn money, get married, so on. Moreover, I love to travel, so I want to discover many places on over the world. I wish I could go to some countries in Europe like France, Holland, Spain and Greece. Especially, before I die, I want to go to two countries. These are Egypt and South Africa. I hope I can go to Egypt to ride camel, take a picture of pyramid and take a boat go along the Nile river. Besides, I heard that view of the Cape Town in South Africa is very beautiful. They are very famous for Table Mountain. I know my bucket list is to greedy, but if I don't die too soon, I will earn enough money to go travel.
Well, how about my superpower? It is speed of darkness. That is ability to move fast at darkness. I ignore collision because my body will become a shadow which can penetrate anything while running. While running everything becomes slow motion for me. The advantage of this ability is I ignore collision faster than light and get to places in a blink of an eye. However, I maybe fall down a cliff or any high places by accident because of running too fast.

Response #6: Thanksgiving

This was an awesome week. My younger brother and his friends lived in San Luis Obispo visited me on last Tuesdays. At first, we intended to go to San Diago for three days. However, we changed the plan. I took them go around the Orange County. We went to Westminster to eat Vietnamese food. Then we went to Balboa Island in Newport Beach to play soccer. They really liked the view of Balboa Island, and we went there two times. All nights of last week, we played poker and PC games until 3 a.m. On Thursday, we went to AMC theater to watch Skyfall and Breaking Dawn. The movie Breaking Dawn is so good, we watched it twice. On Friday, we went to shopping. It was a very big deal on this crazy day, many many people went shopping. When I lived in Vietnam, I just knew about the Black Friday via television, so I could not imagine how it was. Now I know how the real Black Friday was. We were so exciting and we will never forget this atmosphere.

Response #5

This Halloween is the first time in my life I experienced. I have never been any Halloween party in my country before. I always stayed at home and I did not care about this festival. However, I changed my mind when I live in U.S. I liked the atmosphere of Halloween here. One month before Halloween, many people went to stores to buy costumes and stuff to decorate their houses. That atmosphere made me very enthusiastic. So I decided to join the Halloween party of ALP. I went to there with my friends. I was surprised cause lots of students there. They wore vary kinds of costumes. Lots of Arabic students were good at dancing. Every people at the party was very funny and happy, but it was too crowd. After that, my friends and I decided to go a club in Anaheim to drink and dance. We went home at 3 a.m.
When I lived in Vietnam, I knew about the "trick or treat", children received a lot of candy. I really want to follow children to get candy, but it is impossible cause I was too old :((
I really want to attend the Halloween next year, I will prepare a special costume for that night.

Response #4

Do you like reading? If someone asked me this question 7 years ago, I would say No without thinking. I remember when I was a little boy, my father bought many book for me to read, but I had never finished anybook. However, when I was in university, I read lots of business books. At first, I have just read books because I must read them, they are my homework, and I have to read to get knowledge about my major. After a few week, I realized that reading book was not as boring as I thought. Then I am excting when I read books.
I like to read business books, sometimes I read comic books. I used to read the biography of Bill Clinton President - New Life - which I was very interesting. I think this is the biggest book I have ever read. I like the way which Bill Clinton used to decribe his childhood and his experiences during his being a President period.
I used to hate novel, yet when my friend gave me a novel of Guillaume Musso, one of the bestselling authors in French today,  I become a novel addict. However, I just addicted Guillaume Musso books. I have read many novels of him such as: Skidamarink; Afterwards; A Mis-Up in Heaven; Will You Be There?; Lost and Found; One Day, Perhaps; Where I Would Be Without You; Call form an Angel, and so on. At first, I just read these book in Vietnamese, now I am trying to reading English version.
I think reading book is a very good habbit. You can get much more knowlegde when you read. besides that, reading is very useful for writing skill. The more you reading, the better you writing.
            Thanks you for your reading,

Response # 3: Dream Jobs

When I was a little boy, I had many dream jobs. Until now, I have still thought about them. I remember when  I was 5-6 years old, my family went to travel by air plane, and this was the first time I knew what the plane was, so I was so excited. When I was on the board, I saw the pilot and his crews - the flight attendants - I was very admire them. I thought that they were so cool, and I wished I could become a pilot or a flight attendant. If I was them, I could fly any where and I did not need to pay money for the ticket (it was my thinking at that time, and it was so stupid). I still kept this dream job until I was in high school. Unfortunately, when I was 16, my eyes were short-sighted (I played game a lots), and there was a crazy rule that a myopic person can not apply to school to training the pilot. I was very shock when I knew that news. I was very upset and I implored my parents for eyes surgeon. However, my mother disagreed, she always scared about surgeon. So I must abandon my dream job.
One year later, I decided to become a tourist guide. My family has gone to travel twice a year, and I realize that being a tourist guide is as excited as a pilot or flight attendant. If I become a tourist guide, I can go many places and meet many people. I love travel, so I can improve my knowledge about many things related to travel. So I told my parents that I will be a tourist guide. OMG, when I told that, my parent said NO. My father said that being a tourist guide was a good job, but I must be gone to outside a lots, I have no time for my family in future. If I do not spend time enough for my wife and my children, my family will not happy. I have thought about the advice of my father for several weeks, and I gave up my second dream job. My father is a businessman so he want me to become a businessman like him. After I graduated from high school, I applied to study in an economic university. At first, I did not really like to study in this school, I just studied to make my parent happy, but after one year, I started interested in my major (my major is banking). Now I can say my dream job is work for a bank.

Response #2: Travel

According to some people, travel is simply to go somewhere to relax or view the sightseeing. In my opinion, when I go to travel, either go abroad or go somewhere in my country, what I learned after every trip is the most important. So I learn many, many new things via those trips.
I still remember, when I was in university, I went with my friends to the countryside for several days. We did not brings much money, so we decided to camping on the field and the yard of a very kind farmer family. In these days, we learned many things from this farmer and we taught the children how to read and to write. Although the living in countryside is more difficult than the city's, we are still very happy to live there.
Every time I went to travel abroad, I learn many things from culture, life style, ... I am very exciting when go travel because I meet and make friend with many people. The most thing I like when I go travel abroad is I can use English to communicate with people. Truth me, I am serious. Although I can speak English with my friends in my country, we just talk for a short time. When I travel, I must use the English all days, so after every trip, it motivated me to learn English more and more.
I know my experience is so boring, but I just want to write what I know and what I think about travel. Thank you for your reading.
